Steve Bruce excited by Manchester United visit

Hull City boss Steve Bruce reveals that he is looking forward to playing Manchester United on Boxing Day.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has revealed that he is excited by the prospect of Manchester United's visit to the KC Stadium on Boxing Day.

Bruce's side entertain the Premier League champions in what is the first of four games in 10 days for the Tigers.

However, the former United defender insists that he is not daunted by playing the in-form Red Devils.

"Over the Christmas period, we host the champions and they've run into some form which you would expect them to do," Bruce is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"Always in my experience when Man United come to town, it's the biggest and best occasion. For all of us at Hull, what better thing to have than have them on Boxing Day.

"Traditionally it's the biggest gate you have and it's just a great occasion for all of us."

Hull are currently in 12th place in the Premier League table.
