Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.

Huddersfield Town welcome Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday with both sides sitting on 23 points after 14 matches of the Championship season.

At the beginning of last season these two sides were two leagues apart, but promotion from League One for the home side and relegation from the Premier League for Rovers has seen much change at both clubs.

Huddersfield currently sit seventh in the Championship table, just one spot behind Blackburn, but they have lost four of their last six matches in the league.

That is in contrast to Blackburn, who have won their last two in the league and lost just one of their last six after recovering from an indifferent early spell of form. Meanwhile, the appointment of Henning Berg has given supporters hope of an immediate return to the top division.

Huddersfield are expected to name the same team that started their defeat to Millwall, but Blackburn could recall Nuno Gomes at the expense of Marcus Olsson.

Recent form:

Huddersfield: LLWWLL
Blackburn: DDLDWW

Possible lineups:

Huddersfield: Smithies; Woods, Clarke, Lynch, Dixon; Clayton, Southern, Norwood, Scannell; Hammill, Novak

Blackburn: Robinson; Henley, Dann, Hanley, Olsson; Pedersen, Etuhu, Murphy, Kazim-Richards; Rhodes, Gomes

Sports Mole says: 1-1
