Aiming to extend their perfect start to the League One season, Stevenage will travel to the John Smith's Stadium to take on Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The visitors top the table having won each of their first four league outings this term, while their hosts are just three points behind after a pleasing start of their own.
Match preview
Huddersfield Town return to action on Saturday aiming to continue a positive start to life under Lee Grant, having kicked off their League One promotion bid in impressive fashion.
After eventually finishing 10th on their return to England's third tier last time around, failing to challenge for an immediate return to the Championship, the Terriers turned to Grant over the summer, and he would begin with back-to-back league victories over Leyton Orient and Reading, seeing his side score five goals along the way while keeping two clean sheets.
A trip to Blackpool then followed after an EFL Cup penalty shootout defeat to Championship promotion hopefuls Leicester City, and the Yorkshire outfit would drop points for the first time in a 3-2 loss, failing to find a leveller against 10 men after the interval following first-half goals from Ben Wiles and Lynden Gooch.
Grant's men were quickly able to bounce back in midweek, though, hosting Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday and managing a third league victory and clean sheet of the campaign as Wiles finally broke the deadlock in the 78th minute and Joe Taylor converted a penalty six minutes from time to seal a 2-0 triumph.
Now with plenty of confidence to take from their strong start under new management, and having quickly put themselves in the leading pack of the third tier, Huddersfield Town will aim to continue their perfect home league record with a victory at the weekend to move level with the league leaders.
They face a tough test, though, as the visitors arrive in the midst of a perfect start to their own league campaign.
On the back of a 14th-placed League One finish in their first full season under the management of Alex Revell last time around, Stevenage have enjoyed an eye-catching opening run to the 2025-26 campaign, winning each of their first four outings having scored eight goals and only conceded three.
That began with 3-2 and 1-0 triumphs away at Blackpool and at home to Rotherham United respectively, before the Boro bounced back from an EFL Cup defeat to Charlton Athletic by beating Northampton Town 2-0 at home last weekend thanks to second-half goals from Dan Kemp and Gassan Ahadme.
Revell's men looked set to see their winning run come to an end on Tuesday, as they visited Port Vale and trailed 1-0 to a Lorent Tolaj goal heading into the final five minutes, but they would prevail in dramatic fashion as Jamie Reid levelled the scores and sealed all three points with his second in the dying embers.
Now sitting top of League One with its only perfect record after four outings, Stevenage head into their toughest test yet on Saturday with the hopes of making it five wins on the bounce and building a lead at the summit from the outset.

Huddersfield Town will remain without Jacob Chapman, Mickel Miller, Antony Evans and David Kasumu for Saturday's contest.
Lee Grant has a strong squad and may opt to make rotations, with Joe Taylor and Dion Charles competing to come into the attack, while Ben Wiles should return to the midfield from the outset.
He may operate ahead of Herbie Kane and Ryan Ledson after scoring his second goal of the season on Tuesday, while Josh Feeney will again join Joe Low at the back if Jack Whatmough is absent again.
Stevenage should be unchanged from their latest victory in midweek, with Jake Young remaining confined to the treatment room.
Jamie Reid is bound to lead the line again, having moved onto five goals in just four league appearances this season with his second brace of the term on Tuesday, while Phoenix Patterson, Dan Kemp and Jordan Roberts will all hope to keep their places in support.
Elsewhere, Harvey White and Jordan Houghton will continue in the middle of their 4-2-3-1 setup, while Carl Piergianni and Charlie Goode are mainstays at the heart of a back four.
Huddersfield Town possible starting lineup:
Goodman; Gooch, Feeney, Low, Wallace; Ledson, Kane; Harness, Wiles, Taylor; May
Stevenage possible starting lineup:
Marschall; James-Wildin, Goode, Piergianni, Butler; White, Houghton; Roberts, Kemp, Patterson; Reid
We say: Huddersfield Town 1-1 Stevenage
Saturday's game promises to be an intriguing one, as League One's form side visits one of its strongest squads.
Huddersfield Town certainly have the quality in their ranks to outclass any team in the division should they click, but Grant's men may find it tough against a Stevenage side full of confidence from a perfect start.
