Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell has heaped praise on goalkeeper Alex Smithies following the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth yesterday.
The Terriers took a point back to Yorkshire from the South Coast, with Smithies making several key saves to keep out the high-flying Cherries in the closing stages.
"Of course you have to call on your goalkeeper in games like these, and Alex Smithies was very positive," Powell told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
"He came for crosses, punched the ball well and made three very good saves."
A point saw Huddersfield move up to 14th, eight points clear of the drop zone.
