Half-Time Report: Huddersfield Town, Burnley level at the break

Huddersfield, Burnley level at the break

Burnley are on course to remain unbeaten, but have been tested by Huddersfield Town in the first half of this afternoon's clash.

Huddersfield made a promising start when James Vaughan forced two early stops from Tom Heaton, and Oliver Norwood's shot from 25 yards flashed wide of the post.

The Terriers almost broke the deadlock when Martin Paterson's diving header was too good for Heaton, but came back off the woodwork.

Burnley struggled to impose themselves on the game and Vaughan wasted a good chance as he put the ball over the bar from close range.

The Clarets came into this game on a run of two without defeat, while Huddersfield started in 14th place.
