Team News: Hoffenheim make two changes

Hoffenheim recall Kai Herdling and Sebastian Rudy for this afternoon's Bundesliga clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Hoffenheim have opted to give Kai Herdling a chance to impress as they look for a reversal in fortunes against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga this afternoon.

Herdling comes in for Roberto Firmino in an advanced attacking position behind Anthony Modeste, while Sebastian Rudy is favoured in central midfield ahead of Tobias Strobl.

Gladbach are unchanged from the side that thrashed Werder Bremen 4-1 before the international break, with Max Kruse leading the line just ahead of Raffael and Juan Arango.

Hoffenheim: Casteels, Beck, Abraham, Vestergaard, Johnson, Rudy, Polanski, Herdling, Volland, Elyounoussi, Modeste

Gladbach: Ter Stegen, Jantschke, Stranzl, Dominguez, Daems, Kramer, Xhaka, Herrmann, Arango, Raffael, Kruse
