Hibernian 'reject Celtic bid for John McGinn'

Hibernian have reportedly rejected a bid for John McGinn from Scottish champions Celtic.

According to Sky Sports News, the Hoops have made an undisclosed offer for the Scotland international midfielder.

McGinn is also said to have attracted interest from a number of clubs in England, with Championship outfit Derby County previously tipped as the frontrunners for his signature.

Previous reports suggest that the Rams were ready to hand over £3m for the Hibs star, but it is unclear how much Celtic offered.

McGinn appeared 42 times in all competitions for Hibs last season and was also used in both of Scotland's recent international friendlies.
