Report: Hearts offer trial to former Coventry City midfielder Danny Swanson

Scottish Premiership side Hearts have offered a trial to former Coventry City midfielder Danny Swanson, according to reports.

The 28-year-old was released from his contract at the Ricoh Arena by mutual consent last week and is now a free agent.

According to Edinburgh News, Jambos head coach Robbie Neilson wants to add a creative midfield player to his squad, and Swanson could fit the bill if he impresses on trial.

The Edinburgh-born player began his career at Berwick Rangers.
