Thirty-three Hearts players receive payment

Hearts have confirmed that 33 of their players have been paid after over a month of not receiving their weekly wages.

The Scottish club have announced that the remainder of the players will have their salaries resumed "as soon as practically possible".

The club have failed to make payment to the squad for a month as well as missing November's income due yesterday.

Meanwhile, Hearts boss Paulo Sergio has been handed a five-match ban after being sent to the stands for his reaction towards referee Alan Muir during the side's 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock last month.
