FK Haugesund's search for their first victory of the Eliteserien campaign will continue on Saturday afternoon when they welcome HamKam to Haugesund Stadion.
The hosts are bottom of the Eliteserien table, picking up just two points from their first 15 matches of the campaign, while HamKam are 14th, collecting only 14 points from their 14 league games this term.
Match preview
FK Haugesund have struggled badly during the current season, picking up only two points from 15 matches, while they have scored just five times and have conceded 39, which are all worrying numbers.
The Seagulls have not played outside of the top flight since 2016, so it would be somewhat of a surprise to see them relegated this term, but they are already facing a massive battle to remain in the division, sitting 16th, 12 points behind 14th-placed HamKam, who have a game in hand.
Toni Korkeakunnas's side will enter this match off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Valerenga, while they were beaten 2-0 by KFUM in their last match in front of their own supporters on July 13.
FK Haugesund have picked up their two points at home this season, but they have only found the back of the net once in front of their own fans, conceding 17, which are the worst records in the league from an attacking and defensive point of view.
As for HamKam, the visitors were last in action on July 20, playing out a 1-1 draw with Fredrikstad, and they have actually shared the points in three of their last four matches at this level of football.
Thomas Myhre's side were last victorious on May 31, beating Stromsgodset 3-0, but they have struggled since then.
HamKam have a record of three wins, five draws and six defeats from their 14 league matches this season to collect 14 points, which has left them in 14th position in the table.
The Hamar outfit have the third-worst away record in the division this season, picking up just five points from seven matches, recording only one victory in the process.
HamKam beat Haugesund 1-0 when the two teams last locked horns in August 2024, so they are bidding to make it back-to-back victories over the Seagulls in Saturday's encounter.

Kristian Lien is the team's leading goalscorer this term with five, and he will also be a notable starter for the visitors.
HamKam will be without the services of two players through injury, though, with Markus Johnsgard and Halvor Rodolen Opsahl both unavailable for selection against Haugesund.
