Harrison Afful: 'Ghana should have won'

Ghana defender Harrison Afful admits that he is disappointed with his team's 2-2 draw with Germany at the World Cup.

Ghana defender Harrison Afful has revealed that he is disappointed by the team's 2-2 draw with Germany at the World Cup.

The Africans led 2-1 on Saturday night before Miroslav Klose came off the bench to salvage a point for the Germans.

Despite admitting that a win would have been preferable, Afful is satisfied by the performance of the Ghanaians.

"It would have been great to take all three points, but we ran ourselves into the ground and played really well against a team of the calibre of Germany," he told FIFA.com.

"We've still got a game to go and we're going to give it our all to go through. If we don't qualify, it won't be for lack of effort."

Ghana conclude their Group G campaign on Thursday when they play Portugal.
