Germany boss Joachim Low backs Spain to recover from their disappointing World Cup this summer.

Germany boss Joachim Low has backed Spain to recover from their disappointing summer.

La Roja entered the 2014 World Cup as the holders and current European champions, but failed to make it out of the group stages in Brazil.

Low, however, has insisted that it was only a minor blip for La Roja.

"Take the example of Spain. Against France there were a lot of changes and they played well," AS reports Low as saying.

"Spain will safely be in the final four in France [in 2016], I can say today."

Spain begin their Euro 2016 qualification campaign against Macedonia on Monday.
