Joachim Low impressed by Max Kruse

Joachim Low believes that Max Kruse could become an important player for Germany.

Germany coach Joachim Low has revealed that Borussia Monchengladbach forward Max Kruse has all the attributes that he looks for in a striker.

Low said that Kruse, who impressed him in the summer tour to the USA, has the ability to find space as well as being a top finisher.

"Players who drop in between the lines are key nowadays," Low told Bundesliga.com "I prefer strikers who are flexible and able to vary their play up front.

"Kruse has impressed me greatly during his time in the national set-up with his composure on the ball, work ethic, agility and eye for goal. He took a big step forward with us in the USA."

Kruse has scored one goal in two matches for Germany so far.
