The German national team have reportedly been evacuated from their hotel in Paris due to a bomb threat.
The 2014 world champions are staying in the French capital ahead of the friendly clash between the two teams on Friday night, but general manager Oliver Bierhoff has revealed that the squad have been forced to leave the Hotel Molitor, which is situated on the Rue Nungesser et Coli.
The 47-year-old told German newspaper Express: "There was a bomb threat. The hotel has been widely cordoned off and evacuated."
The alert was confirmed by Hendrik Grosse Lefert, a security officer for the German Football Association, who told the DPA News Agency: "The French police informed us that an anonymous bomb threat has been received.
"Together with my colleagues, we have decided to leave the hotel at short notice."
It is currently unknown when they will be allowed to return to the hotel.
