Galatasaray confirm signing of Borussia Dortmund defender Kevin Grosskreutz

Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund defender Kevin Grosskreutz.

There was a danger that the deal might not go through due to some late paperwork issues, but the Turkish side have announced the move for an initial fee of around £1.1m.

Having been frozen out in recent weeks by Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel, Grosskreutz travelled to Istanbul on Monday to complete the move.

Grosskreutz has made 330 appearances in his six years at Dortmund, helping the club to win two Bundesliga titles.
