Fulham reject final VVV Venlo offer for Danny Hoesen

VVV Venlo have conceded defeat in their pursuit of Fulham striker Danny Hoesen.

The Dutch club had three bids rejected for the 21-year-old and will now look elsewhere for reinforcements.

"We are now moving our interest towards another striker," Venlo general director Hans Soentjes told De Telegraaf.

"Last Friday we made our final bid and Fulham have said it is too low."

Hoesen, who joined Fulham from HJK Helsinki for a fee of £400,000 in July 2010, has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Cottagers.
