Fulham's Matthew Briggs joins Watford on loan

Fulham left-back Matthew Briggs has joined Watford on a month's loan.

Briggs, who has made eight appearances for the Premier League club this season in all competitions, played four games for Bristol City earlier this term on loan.

He has now joined the battle at the other end of the table, with Gianfranco Zola's side currently second in the Championship.

Briggs had a loan spell at Peterborough United at the end of last season.
