Fulham 'to move for Aleksandar Mitrovic'

Fulham will attempt to sign Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic on a permanent basis if they are promoted to the Premier League, according to a report.

Fulham will reportedly attempt to sign Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic on a permanent basis if they are promoted to the Premier League.

The Cottagers will take on Aston Villa in the Championship playoff final this weekend.

According to the London Evening Standard, promotion for the London club will see them immediately switch their attentions to securing a permanent deal for Mitrovic.

The 23-year-old moved to Craven Cottage on loan during the January window, and has scored 12 times in 17 Championship appearances for Fulham.

Slavisa Jokanovic's team could also reportedly move for Newcastle forward Dwight Gayle this summer if they secure promotion back to the top flight.
