Fulham manager Martin Jol feels that his team is in danger of being drawn into a relegation fight if they don't improve upon recent results.

Martin Jol has told his Fulham players that they are in danger of playing their way into the Premier League's relegation battle.

The Whites have managed to win just once from their last 10 outings and as a result have dropped to 13th in the table - five points above the drop zone.

Despite insisting that he is not worried at the moment, Jol has conceded that a couple more negative results over the festive period will see his team dragged into danger.

"We are in a good position," he told reporters. "We have got a good cushion but if we don't pick up the points in the next week or so then we're really in a relegation battle with other teams."

Fulham entertain Southampton at Craven Cottage on Boxing Day.
