Scott Parker eager for respect of Fulham fans

New Fulham signing Scott Parker has revealed that he is eager to have the respect of the club's fans.

The 32-year-old moved to Craven Cottage on a three-year deal from local rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.

"I just want them to respect me," Parker is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "They've seen the way I play and the character I am.

"Every club I've been at I've forged a relationship with the fans. I hope it'll be the same here."

Fulham continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they play host to Arsenal.
