Fulham manager Martin Jol believes that the Cottagers can get their season back on track against Newcastle United on Monday.

Fulham manager Martin Jol believes that his side are capable of finding the back of the net against Newcastle United on Monday.

The Cottagers face the North-East side while sitting 13th in the league table, despite lingering in sixth for the first period of the campaign. However, Jol believes that they can overcome their slump, which started in their 3-1 defeat to Sunderland.

"We are good enough to come up with a solution," said Jol. "Against Sunderland, before Brede Hangeland's red card, we were the better team. Even in the first half against Spurs we had three of four chances, more chances than they had, and we had more attempts.

"We couldn't believe the 3-0 scoreline after that match. We spoke about it with the players and we feel that we will be fine. But we have to work hard. We have to pick ourselves up and pick up some points."

Fulham are just five points away from the relegation zone.
