Half-Time Report: James Tarkowski own goal brings Fulham level against Brentford

It is level at 1-1 at the break in the Championship clash between Fulham and Brentford at Craven Cottage.

An own goal from James Tarkowski has cancelled out Alan Judge's opener to leave the Championship match between Fulham and Brentford level at the break.

The Bees were handed the opportunity to take the lead in the 17th minute when Ashley Richards brought down Jake Bidwell in the penalty area and a spot kick was awarded. Judge took the penalty and buried his strike past Andy Lonergan.

Brentford came close to a second goal when Lasse Vibe raided forward to the edge of the box and turned his man before firing at goal, but Lonergan made a good save to repel his strike.

The home side pressed forward for the first time in the match through Ryan Fredericks and he opted to go for goal from distance, but David Button made a smart stop to deny the midfielder.

Fulham equalised before the break when Ross McCormack lifted a cross into the box and Tarkowski diverted the ball into his own net as he tried to clear the danger.
