Bayer Leverkusen overcome Freiburg

Bayer Leverkusen have beaten Freiburg 2-1 at Mage Solar Stadion to reach the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal.

Robbie Kruse got the visitors off to a lightning start with a goal in the first minute of the game.

However, the home side drew level through Matthias Ginter after 19 minutes.

The score stayed level until the 77th minute, when Emre Can popped up to fire his team into the next round of the competition.
