Raphael Varane: 'I can do better'

France defender Raphael Varane has insisted that he can still improve following his international debut in Friday's 3-1 win over Georgia.

The 19-year-old earned his first senior cap for Les Bleus at the Stade de France as they edged closer to World Cup qualification.

"The stage and atmosphere were as I imagined," Varane told Eurosport.

"I really enjoyed my first match, but I can still do better, I'm young and I will not take it to my head."

France can tighten their grip on Group I on Tuesday when they host second-placed Spain.
