Didier Deschamps hails "complete" Abou Diaby

France coach Didier Deschamps has described Abou Diaby as the "complete midfielder" following Friday's 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Finland.

The Arsenal player scored the only goal of the game in Helsinki to give Les Blues a winning start to their campaign.

"He is a boy with a lot of qualities, but I knew that," Deschamps told L'Equipe. "He is a complete midfielder."

Diaby has started the Gunners' first three matches this season having played only five minutes last term due to injury.
