Chapecoense vs. Bahia (Sunday, 3.00pm)

Winless Chapecoense welcome Bahia to Santa Catarina on Sunday, as they seek to end a terrible start to their Campeonato Brasileiro campaign.
While O Verdao sit in the early-season relegation zone, their visitors remain inside the top half of the table, despite losing a high-scoring game last time out.
We say: Chapecoense 1-2 Bahia
Goals are to be expected in Santa Catarina this weekend, as both Bahia and Chapecoense come into this fixture having just featured in high-scoring games and are among the league's top scorers and worst defensive sides respectively.
Chape simply cannot find a way to win or even create enough scoring opportunities, so they may have to wait a little while longer to get off the mark as they are faced with an opposition that are more fluent in the final third.

Flamengo vs. Fluminense (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Defending Brasileiro champions Flamengo finally have a chance to build some momentum when they take on bitter Rio rivals Fluminense at Neo Quimica Arena on Sunday.
The Scarlet-Black have not won back-to-back games since May and are down in sixth, while opponents Fluminense are 13th after going four games without a win.
We say: Flamengo 1-1 Fluminense
Flamengo picked up a much-needed win in midweek to keep themselves within reach of leaders Bragantino and enter this game as favourites.
However, their inability to string together victories this term, combined with Fluminense's high number of draws, has us backing this one to finish all square.

Sport vs. Palmeiras (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Palmeiras will be looking to close the gap at the top of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A table when they travel to Sport Recife on Sunday.
The hosts have claimed five points from their last three matches on home soil, while the visitors have won four of their previous five league games, scoring 11 goals in the process.
We say: Sport Recife 0-2 Palmeiras
The two sides head into this fixture in contrasting form, with the visitors strong favourites to claim all three points. We feel that Palmeiras will be too strong for the hosts and have the firepower to secure a comfortable victory on Sunday.

Sao Paulo vs. Bragantino (Sunday, 10.15pm)
© Reuters
Leaders Bragantino travel to struggling Sao Paulo on Sunday, where they seek to extend an excellent start to their Campeonato Brasileiro campaign.
Unbeaten in Serie A so far, the Red Bull-backed outfit have won five of their first eight fixtures as they aim for a first-ever title, while their more illustrious opponents are yet to taste victory.
We say: Sao Paulo 1-1 Bragantino
Though one of Brazil's megaclubs have made a listless start to the season, recent draws have somewhat steadied the ship, so a talent-packed if incoherent Sao Paulo squad can add another point to their meagre tally.
Ambitious upstarts Bragantino, meanwhile, are exceeding expectations and will be pleased to at least maintain their undefeated start to what is set to be an exciting campaign for the reborn club.

Ceara vs. Juventude (Sunday, 10.15pm)
© Reuters
Promoted Juventude seek to continue their bright start to life in the top flight, as they travel to meet mid-table Ceara on Sunday.
The pair are separated by just two points in the Serie A standings, following four-match unbeaten runs in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
We say: Ceara 1-1 Juventude
While Ceara have made themselves tough to beat so far, Juventude have given an excellent account of themselves since being promoted to the top flight.
Neither team is packed with goalscoring prowess either - though Juve's Matheus Peixoto is enjoying a purple patch and could find the net again here - so a low-scoring draw is the most probable outcome.

Cuiaba vs. Atletico Mineiro (Sunday, 10.15pm)
© Reuters
Cuiaba will look to climb out of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A relegation zone on Sunday when they host Atletico Mineiro at Arena Pantanal.
Dourado are winless in the league after dropping a 2-0 decision to last season's champions Flamengo, while Galo are coming off an impressive 4-1 win over Atletico Goianiense, which moved them into fifth place in the table.
We say: Cuiaba 1-0 Atletico Mineiro
Dourado have scored the fewest number of goals in the league so far (4) but they have only played one game at home and they have been able to keep all of their matches close, so the home crowd and their resilience could bring them some good fortune this weekend.
Mineiro have lost two straight matches away from home, and they tend to get complacent and nervous when playing inferior opponents.

Gremio vs. Atletico GO (Monday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
Basement club Gremio will be looking to claim their first Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A victory of the season when they host Atletico Goianiense on Monday.
Tiago Nunes's men have claimed just two points from their opening six league matches, while the visitors have already reached double figures, accumulating 10 points from their first seven games.
We say: Gremio 1-2 Atletico Goianiense
Gremio will be desperate to claim their first league victory of the campaign, and with an impressive record against their opponents, they will fancy their chances on Monday.
However, we feel that Atletico Goianiense have enough quality in the final third to clinch a narrow away victory at the Arena do Gremio.
