Fenerbahce have called on officials to suspend the Turkish Super Lig season following a gun attack on their team bus last night.
The Canaries were travelling back to the airport following their comprehensive 5-1 victory against Caykur Rizespo when the attack was carried out.
Mahmut Uslu, the vice president of Fener, believes that the perpetrators were "attempting to kill" the players on board the coach, although it was only the driver of the vehicle who required medical treatment.
In the wake of the incident, the Istanbul side have called for the national league to be halted until those involved have been tracked down.
"We consider that as long as this attack is not solved in a way that satisfies Fenerbahce and public opinion, a suspension of the championship is inevitable," a club statement read.
"Blood ran and football was silenced. Finding and punishing the culprits is of vital importance for Fenerbahce."
Fenerbahce are currently one point clear of Galatasaray at the top of the Turkish top division.
