Team News: Ruben Amorim confirms Man United XI for Europa League showdown in Romania

Manchester United and FCSB have confirmed their starting sides for Thursday night's Europa League showdown in Romania.

The 20-time English champions are fourth in the Europa League table on 15 points, two points ahead of ninth-placed Galatasaray, with the team in a strong position when it comes to reaching the knockout round.

FCSB, meanwhile, are eighth, with 14 points from seven matches also leaving them in the automatic qualification spots.

Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim has made five changes to the side that started against Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, with Altay Bayindir, Christian Eriksen, Toby Collyer, Kobbie Mainoo and Tyrell Malacia coming into the XI.

Rasmus Hojlund will again lead the line despite his recent struggles, while Alejandro Garnacho, who continues to be linked with a move away from Man United in the latter stages of the January transfer window, is on the bench.

Marcus Rashford did not make the trip to Romania, though, with the forward still being overlooked by Amorim.

As for FCSB, their leading goalscorer Darius Olaru is injured, but Daniel Birligea does start, and the forward has 11 goals in 21 appearances during an impressive campaign to date.

There is also a spot in the side for David Miculescu, who has scored nine times in all competitions this term.
