FC Twente grab late draw at Cambuur

FC Twente have denied Cambuur victory in their first Eredivisie match of the season, thanks to Youness Mokhtar's late strike.

Albert Rusnak gave the hosts the lead in the 13th minute of the match when he curled a free kick from just outside the box into the top corner of the net.

The visitors came close to a response after the break when Luc Castaignos met Tim Breukers's cross, but he could only strike over the bar.

Camburr then almost doubled their lead as Michiel Hemmen met Rusnak's free kick, but saw his header saved by Nick Marsman.

With two minutes left to play, Twente equalised when Mokhtar's deflected strike found its way past Leonard Nienhuis, ensuring that the match finished all square at 1-1.
