Report: Everton want Demba Ba

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Demba Ba from Chelsea this summer.

The Toffees are currently in the market for a new centre-forward, with last season's top scorer Romelu Lukaku returning to parent club Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton boss Roberto Martinez will again go back to Stamford Bridge to boost his striking options, with Ba the subject of interest.

Ba, 29, joined Chelsea from Newcastle United in January 2012, but has scored just eight times for the club and is widely expected to seek pastures new this summer.
