Marcus Hahnemann completes Seattle Sounders move

Former Everton goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has completed a move to MLS club Seattle Sounders.

The 40-year-old, who began his career at Seattle, admitted his delight after joining the club on a free transfer.

"This is where I started my career and I wanted to finish here. This is what we've always dreamed would happen in Seattle, and what I always wanted when I was here," he told the club's official website.

Hahnemann has also represented Reading and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
