Everton manager David Moyes is reportedly preparing to make a bid for Blackpool winger Matt Phillips.
Moyes saw the the 20-year-old at close quarters last weekend when Everton defeated the Seasiders in the FA Cup.
The boss is believed to have liked what he saw and is now ready to submit an offer for his services, according to The People.
However, the Toffees may face competition from Bolton Wanderers and Celtic for Phillips's signature.
