Report: Everton ready to meet release clause of young Sevilla striker Juan Munoz

Reports in Spain have suggested that Everton are willing to meet the release clause of Sevilla striker Juan Munoz.

Sevilla have opened talks with the 19-year-old's agent over a new contract but are far from an agreement, according to Mucho Deporte.

With that, Everton are said to be ready to meet Munoz's €3m (£2.1m) release clause just days after signing young Uruguayan striker Leandro Rodriguez.

Munoz has made just two appearances for the Sevilla first team, but has scored 14 goals in 35 appearances for reserve side Sevilla Atletico.
