Everton 'eyeing cut-price summer Ukra deal'

Everton monitor Portuguese winger Ukra with a view to a possible £2m bid, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Portuguese winger Ukra and could complete a cut-price deal next summer.

According to the Daily Star, the Blues have sent scouts to watch the 26-year-old play for Rio Ave at least twice in recent weeks.

The ex-Porto attacker is believed to be attracting interest from clubs in Portugal, Spain and France.

However, Ukra is said to be targeting a move to the Premier League and the Toffees may be able to sign the forward, whose contract expires in June 2016, for as little £2m.

Ukra may become a viable alternative if Everton decide not to pursue long-term deals for loanees Aaron Lennon and Christian Atsu.
