Everton end McCormack pursuit?

Everton have reportedly calmed their interest in Leeds United striker Ross McCormack.

Manager David Moyes is believed to have had the Scottish international watched on two occasions over the pre-season period.

However, having sold Jack Rodwell to Premier League champions Manchester City for a reported £12m, Moyes will use the windfall to tempt another centre-forward to Goodison Park, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

It has been claimed that Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas is at the top of Moyes's wishlist.
