Everton boss Roberto Martinez is reportedly keen on signing Portuguese midfielder Diogo Viana, who is said to be valued at £4.2m by Gil Vicente.

Everton have reportedly been told that they must pay in excess of £4m in order to sign Portuguese midfielder Diogo Viana.

The 23-year-old has been one of the stars of the Primeira Liga season so far, helping surprise package Gil Vicente to five wins in nine games.

According to The Mirror, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has been monitoring Viana since the summer and is keen to step up his interest in the playmaker.

The paper claims that Gil Vicente have placed a £4.2m price tag on their prized asset.
