Christian Atsu to seal Everton loan deal tomorrow

Roberto Martinez confirms that Christian Atsu will complete his loan move from Chelsea to Everton tomorrow.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Christian Atsu will finalise a loan move to Goodison Park from Chelsea tomorrow.

The Spanish boss announced yesterday that the Ghana international has agreed to join the Merseyside outfit for a season.

Now, the former Wigan Athletic manager has stated that Atsu will join his team on Thursday ahead of Everton's opening Premier League match against Leicester City on Saturday.

"We expect Atsu to join us tomorrow - the deal is done with Chelsea," Martinez told Sky Sports News.

The winger, who joined Chelsea from Porto last summer, spent last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.
