Everton lineup vs. Man United: Predicted XI for Premier League showdown

Dyche's attacking dilemma: How Everton could line up against Man United

Everton manager Sean Dyche is likely to be working with a near-identical squad for Sunday's Premier League contest with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Toffees will be without the services of James Garner (back), Seamus Coleman (thigh), Chermiti (ankle) and Tim Iroegbunam (foot) this weekend, while Armando Broja (Achilles) will only make the bench at the very best.

Broja should soon be available to offer an alternative option to an ailing attack, as Everton's goalless draw with Brentford last weekend means that they have now failed to score in three successive top-flight games.

Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also without a goal in eight consecutive Premier League matches, but having started every top-division contest this term, he should reprise his offensive role over Beto once again.

Dwight McNeil and Iliman Ndiaye are also undroppable in the final third, leaving Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison to scrap it out for the final place in Dyche's attacking quartet - a battle that the former is likely to win.

Following back-to-back clean sheets, Dyche has no need to alter the spine of the team, as Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure make up the midfield while James Tarkowski and long-time Man United target Jarrad Branthwaite link arms in defence.

From a potential future Red Devils defender to a former one, Ashley Young reunites with his former employers at right-back, while Vitaliy Mykolenko and Jordan Pickford complete an untouched defence.

Everton possible starting lineup: Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Doucoure, Gueye; Lindstrom, McNeil, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin
