Everton's Roberto Martinez: 'I considered dancing to celebrate Stoke City win'

Roberto Martinez admits that he felt like "dancing" to celebrate Everton's 3-0 win over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has admitted that he considered showing off some dance moves to celebrate his side's 3-0 victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Spanish boss made headlines when he was caught on video dancing at a Jason Derulo gig in Liverpool on Thursday night.

Today, though, Martinez witnessed his side dominate the Potters, with Romelu Lukaku scoring from the penalty spot, Seamus Coleman adding a second and Aaron Lennon rounding off the win with a goal of his own.

It is the second time in a week that Everton have ran out 3-0 winners following Wednesday night's victory over Newcastle United.

"It's been a good week with the manner of the three 3-0 wins," Everton's Twitter page quotes Martinez as saying. "We showed a different mature side to our play. At 3-0, we created four clear-cut opportunities and if you want to be critical, we should have taken them.

"I thought about dancing, but I thought it was difficult to beat the moves the boys showed on the pitch! Our fans are an extra force. The ambition is to be as high as we can. We have a really exciting team project in front of us."

The Merseyside outfit have moved up to seventh in the league table.
