Jay Rodriguez: 'No limits to what England can do'

Jay Rodriguez believes that there are "no limits" to what England can achieve at the World Cup.

Jay Rodriguez has claimed that there are "no limits" to what England can do at the World Cup.

The Southampton forward missed out on a place in Roy Hodgson's squad after suffering a serious knee injury back in April.

While Hodgson has urged caution in relation to England's hopes in Brazil, Rodriguez has suggested that they could go far in the tournament.

"I don't think there are any limits as to how far they can go," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "I think if you look at the squad, the manager, they are brilliant. There really are no limits and it's an exciting time for England."

Rodriguez won his only cap to date for England in November 2013 during the team's friendly defeat to Chile.
