Phil Jones: 'England have itchy feet'

England defender Phil Jones has said that his team 'cannot wait' to start their 2018 World Cup against Tunisia.

This summer's competition opened with Russia beating Saudi Arabia 5-0 on Thursday, before the game of the tournament thus far saw Portugal draw 3-3 with Spain on Friday night.

Jones has claimed that England now "have itchy feet" as they prepare to get their tournament underway on June 18.

"Watching the game (Russia vs. Saudi Arabia) the other night it was great for the tournament to get started and get going but we just have itchy feet now waiting for our game on Monday night," Jones told Sky Sports News.

Panama and Belgium make up Group G, and the pair will lock horns on Monday afternoon before England face Tunisia in Volgograd.
