England midfielder Dele Alli will undergo a thigh scan on Tuesday after picking up an injury in the Three Lions' win over Tunisia.

England midfielder Dele Alli has acknowledged that he suffered a thigh injury during the 2-1 victory over Tunisia on Monday night.

Alli sustained the issue during the first half but the Tottenham Hotspur player was allowed to continue until the latter stages before being replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

However, despite Alli being able to continue to feature in the contest in Volvograd, it has been confirmed that the 22-year-old will undergo a scan on Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury.

After the game, Alli suggested that he hoped to be fine to feature in England's next fixture, which comes against Panama on Sunday afternoon.

Loftus-Cheek would likely replace Alli should the playmaker not be available for the encounter in Nizhny Novgorod.
