How England could line up against Romania

England boss Gareth Southgate has a number of decisions to make as the Three Lions prepare to round off their Euro 2020 preparations with a friendly against Romania on Sunday evening.

Those involved in the Europa League and Champions League finals have now joined up with the squad, meaning that Southgate has a stronger selection to choose from following Wednesday's 1-0 win over Austria.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to the thigh injury that he picked up against Austria, though, while Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson are unlikely to be involved here, with both players battling to be fit for the start of the European Championships.

Marcus Rashford and Kalvin Phillips are also carrying slight knocks, while Jack Grealish could be protected here, with the attacker seemingly in line for a start against Croatia on June 13.

John Stones and Luke Shaw may feature in the back four, but Jude Bellingham should retain his spot in the middle of the park following an excellent display on Wednesday evening.

Southgate also has a number of important decisions to make in the final third, with Harry Kane potentially being rested from the start, which might allow Dominic Calvert-Lewin to come in.

Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount may all feature in attacking positions, while Bukayo Saka could play another important part following his goal against Austria.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; Trippier, Stones, Coady, Shaw; Bellingham, Rice; Sancho, Mount, Sterling; Calvert-Lewin
