Three withdraw from England Under-21 squad

England Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce has seen three players withdraw from his squad today.

Sunderland's Connor Wickham, Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose and Middlesbrough's Joe Bennett have pulled out ahead of the Euro 2013 qualifiers in Iceland and Norway with injuries.

In response to the news, Pearce has opted to promote Liverpool full-back Jon Flanagan to his playing squad.

The boss announced his squad for the two matches last week.
