Gary Neville has admitted that the progress made by Southampton defender Luke Shaw has left him impressed.
Shaw made his international debut in the win over Denmark on Wednesday and England assistant coach Neville claims that the youngster is displaying "enormous" potential at an early stage in his career.
"I've watched Luke Shaw live a few times this season for Southampton but the staggering thing to me after seeing him in training with England this week has been his age, he's just 18," Neville told reporters. "To do what he's doing at 18 years old really is incredible.
"The potential in Shaw is enormous. He's a real talent.
"To be doing what he's doing now, along with the fact that he works hard, means you've got someone who'll go to the top of the game."
Shaw will turn his attention to the Premier League on Saturday when Southampton face Crystal Palace.
