Larsson keen to extend run over England

Sunderland winger Sebastian Larsson is hoping that Sweden will extend their unbeaten run against England at Wembley tomorrow evening.

England have not recorded a victory against the Yellows since 1968 when Sir Bobby Charlton was among the goalscorers.

Sweden have won four and drawn eight of the last 12 encounters between the two teams and Larsson is keen for that run to continue.

"I don't know why our record is so good against England," Larsson told a press conference.

"I've certainly let my English colleagues at Sunderland know before this game!

"It's a funny statistic, and hopefully we can keep it going for a few more years and reach 50. That will be good."

The last match between the teams ended in a 2-2 draw at the 2006 World Cup.
