Former England boss Fabio Capello rules out the possibility of him returning to manage an Italian club team.

Fabio Capello has ruled out the possibility of him returning to management in his native Italy.

The former England manager is thought to be interested in a return to club management, but a move back to Serie A doesn't interest the 65-year-old.

"It is gratifying to work for a national team, but I won't rule out the possibility of training a club side again, even if right now I prefer to enjoy my vacation," Capello told La Stampa.

"However, I can 100 percent rule out a return to the bench in Italy."

Capello has previously managed clubs such as AC Milan, Roma, Real Madrid and Juventus, winning nine league titles and a Champions League crown in the process.
