Daniele De Rossi: 'I owe Fabio Capello everything'

Italy's Daniele De Rossi has praised former England boss Fabio Capello.

The Roma playmaker described his compatriot as "extra special" and admitted that he owes him "everything."

The Mirror quotes him as saying: "Capello on the bench can scare you. With all respect to their actual coach, he [Capello] is extra special.

"At Roma, he took me from the youth team to the first team and with him I became an Under-21 international, ready for the national team. To say that I owe him everything is not enough."

England take on Italy in the quarter-finals of Euro 2012 on Sunday (June 24).
