England Women's Karen Carney: 'Colombia will be in our faces'

England Women's Karen Carney is prepared to be 'frustrated' by Colombia when the two teams face in tomorrow's crucial World Cup clash.

England Women's Karen Carney has predicted that Colombia will aim to frustrate when the two teams go head to head in tomorrow's World Cup encounter.

Mark Sampson's side need to beat their South American opponents in order to seal a place in the last-16 stage of the tournament in Canada.

"They are a typical South American team," BBC Sport quotes Carney as saying. "They will be flamboyant, they will be in your faces, they will kick and foul you, they will break up play and frustrate you - that's their gameplan."

England lost to France in their opener, but managed to seal a 2-1 triumph over Mexico last Saturday.
