Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain pens contract extension

Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain has signed a new long-term deal with the Scottish Premiership club.

The 23-year-old has extended his stay at Dens Park to summer 2018.

Bain, who joined Dundee from Alloa Athletic at the start of the season, has recently been linked with a move to Celtic.

"We are very happy to have a young talent like Scott Bain commit his future to us as we continue to build for a long bright future for Dundee football club," managing director John Nelms told the club's official website.

Bain has kept five clean sheets in 20 appearances so far this season.
